S&S Tire & Auto Service Center - Richmond Road

Our 12-year-old vehicle needed brake rotors, but the earliest available appointment at the dealer was in two weeks, so decided to give S&S a try. Dropped the car off in the evening. Received the estimate at 8:30 the next morning, and by 1pm the job was done. Price was reasonable, especially considering what the dealer likely would have charged. Brakes are working fine now. Very satisfied with this experience at S&S Tire.

David was the employee I worked with and he provided excellent customer service and was transparent throughout the tire repair process. I originally came from the other s&s tire in Beaumont and they were rude and refused to fix the tire and insisted on selling me 4 new tires. The Richmond road location on the other hand fixed it with no issues and in a timely manner. The technicians here are clearly more skilled than the technicians in Beaumont’s and if you are able to come to this location over the other Lexington locations I would encourage it!

I had a nail in one of my tires. They fit me in to repair it, with minimal wait. Because I got the warranty on the tires when I bought them, it didn't cost me anything. They have always been great when I've taken any of my vehicles to them, and it is so reassuring to have people I trust to work on my car.

It was a cold rainy terrible day and I ended up with a flat. I went to S&S Tires in hopes of some assistance. I was met by a friendly front staff who appeared on the surface to be extremely helpful. I waited over 40 minutes after being told my tire could be plugged... However I was later it could no longer be plugged or patched and told I had to buy two new tires. When I asked why the tire could not be plugged, I was told it was way too close to the sidewall. This was simply not the case considering I left, took the tire off, plugged the tire filled it with air and made it back and forth from Lexington to Richmond, Richmond to Liberty and Back and around to Richmond+ Lexington. .. I work locally in the area it, it was a roofing nail stuck in the tread, not the sidewall. I'm all for supporting local businesses especially as a woman, but after constantly being mansplained, or gaslit I have 0 inclination to recommend this business to anyone not a friend not family definitely not my clients. This was about as useless as trying to get help from a service department at a dealership. Thanks for the initial greeting but the overall experience was extremely disappointing and leads me to b

I had a low tire pressure sensor come on while driving home from work and noticed the pressure kept dropping. I called S&S Tire and they were kind enough to squeeze me in the same day. Turns out there was a piece of metal in my tire. They quickly put a spare on for me and ordered a replacement tire. When the new tire came in, they called to let me know. When I arrived to have it installed they were clearly busy, but they still got me in and out quickly. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Great service and great people. 10/10 highly recommend!
